Veterans may be eligible for mortgage assistance through the VA. This may include financial counseling, repayment plans, loan modification, forbearance programs, and more. The VA also provides mortgage help for eligible veterans, military members and surviving spouses.

 The VA disability compensation offers a monthly tax-free monetary benefit to Veterans who were made sick or injured while serving on active duty and for those whose service exacerbated a pre-existing condition.  

Veterans may be eligible for VA health care benefits if they were honorably discharged.  Some Veterans may not have to pay copays due to their disability rating, income level, or other factors.  VA travel reimbursement pays eligible Veterans and caregivers for roundtrip travel expenses to approved health care appointments.  More related benefits may apply.
